There is nothing more important to any parent than the custody of one’s child. I trusted Mr. Warlick with the life of my child, and my trust in him was earned well beyond my expectations.

While working with Mr. Warlick on my case I found both he and his staff consistently maintained the highest degree of professionalism, honesty and integrity throughout my litigation. Upon my first meeting with Mr. Warlick, I felt like he was really listening to me. He asked about my relationship with my son, my son's health issues, and then followed up with a handful of very detailed questions regarding his medical issues. I was blown away that he even knew what my son's health condition was and how it impacted his life...

Dear Doug, I knew when I first met you that you are a good hearted God fearing Man. We fought one hell of a battle together. I feel bad that the war caused so much grief. I am grateful that I got to know you as a person and not just a lawyer. They say that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I’d say I should live to be about 150 years old. All the pain you should have to endure should buy you at least a Two Hundred life span. You don’t seem to take the little things for granted. Some of the best advice I was ever given came from a 90 year old man in the nursing home. “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” I hope we will remain friends for a long time to come. Many Thanks for all you have done.

Dear Doug, I wanted to write while this is all still fresh. I am still am a little numb, but I will try to put this in words. As an out of state father who has felt kicked around by my Ex since before the divorce I really didn’t believe you when you said I could get custody of my 10 year old son. Following your advice and letting you fight against some high paid, powerful, big gun attorneys brought in from Cook and DuPage Counties was scary to say the least. In the end we prevailed. My son coming to live with me is a wonderful, miraculous thing that in the end may be the best thing to happen for him. I have a little more faith in the system seeing that with good counsel “David and Goliath battles can still go David’s way. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
